We are all concerned when someone is using our computer, with or without permission. There is no telling what they might download or install and what kind of malware we might end up with. Whatever the reason, if you want to know what someone is doing on a computer, a surveillance software will be more than helpful. NeoSpy is one such program and it is worth looking at. It will record every action performed by the user and it will create details logs. Unlike other similar keyloggers, NeoSpy's features are much easier to understand and use due to its simplicity.

The package is only 4.06 Mb large, which means that it can be downloaded swiftly. While navigating the straightforward installation wizard, you can opt for options which will hide the installation folder, prevent the program from appearing in the Programs section from the Windows Control Panel and other ones which will make the software undetectable.

NeoSpy features a compact interface, where you can find a series of large buttons. Simply click the Start Monitor button and everything you will do from that moment on will be recorded. The Stealth Mode button will hide the interface and it can only be restored from the start menu or with a hot key. After stopping the recording, you can access a report which covers a wide variety of activity details. These are displayed in a table of contents and are organized in categories, under separate navigation tabs. The software will display the visited web sites, installed and accessed applications, clipboard contents, keystrokes and even screenshots. It is also possible to export a report in HTML format. After clicking the designated button on the interface, you can choose what details the report should include with the aid of check boxes. The HTML file will be saved in a location of your choosing and you can access it at any time with your web browser.

If you are not at home and someone is using your computer, NeoSpy can be set to launch and record automatically on system startup. It can also send you periodic reports and screenshots by email. The software's main settings panel is where you can specify your email address, what data to send and make other basic or advanced settings. This way, you can make sure if someone is using your computer, even when you are away.

Pros

NeoSpy's easy to use features can be accessed fast with the aid of large buttons found on the interface. It can record any task performed on a computer and it will create detailed reports which can be sent automatically by email.

Cons

The trial version will only record for 60 minutes and then it will stop. NeoSpy will record any activity on a computer and you can get the logs via email. With a lightweight interface, its effective features can be found and used with great ease.
